Lavender - Art and Scent

I just love to grow lavender augustifolia in my herb garden. The fresh clean scent makes my front porch smell like heaven! Growing lavender is actually easier than painting it on canvas. Today, during "art time" with my boys, I tried to paint my sprig as I saw it. Meanwhile, they painted the floor as much as they painted their pictures. As I practiced painting with my acrylics, using my fresh lavender sprig as my muse, I made sure to roll on my favorite natural scent. Might as well smell it and hold it, right? Growing lavender is partially behind what drew me to the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. And guess what? Doterra makes it easy with their pre-diluted touch line. But enough of that - what do you think of my lavender? Clearly I need more practice!

Please remember: Doterra International is committed to sharing their essential oils and products responsibly. That means dilution, safe usage, and FDA compliant sharing is important! So, before you start sending me mail because I use essential oils from this particular company, please note that I do not get paid to mention my love of their products. Thanks!
